       Trong một cuộc du xuân, ba chị em họ Vương đã dừng chân bên nấm mồ
  Đạm Tiên, một ca nữ tài danh của một thời  và dây cũng là điểm khởi đầu
  của câu chuyện Truyện ThúyKiều' ....

             '               Tà tà bóng ngã về tây
                  52- Chỉ em thơ thẩn dang tay ra về
                             Bước lần theo ngọn tiểu khê
                  54- Lần xem phong cảnh có bề thanh thanh
                            Nao nao dòng nước uốn quanh
                  56- Nhịp cầu nho nhỏ cuối ghềnh bắt ngang
                           Sè sè nâm đất bên đường

                Little by little, the  sun declined in the West
          52-  Hand in hand, brother and sisters , walked in return home,.
                Step by step, they followed a rivulet
          54- In regarding, one by one, the sweet and verdant sceneries
                Turn by turn, a stream moved and meandered, gently
          56-  Under the small bridge, a brook flowed away
                In the low part, a knoll  appeared beside the way
          58- Half yellow, half green, the grass seemed to be annoyed.
                'Why in the Season OF 'Pure Clarity' . Kieu exclaimed
          60- ' Were absent so much the incense and smoke ?
                Suddenly, Vuong Quan began to explain :
          62- ' Dam Tien was a famous singer, in former times .
                 She was a well-known by her beauty and her talent
          64- 'Before her front-door, crownded gentlemen and gallants.
                'How frail  was the destiny of the beautiful girl !
          66- 'So, in the midle of spring, was broken the perfumed branch'.
                'In the far distance, there was a foreigner
          68- 'Hearing her reputantation, immediatly, he admired her .
                'When the love-boat was just landing
          70- 'The  hair-pin was broken and the vase fell down already .
                The empty chamber became frigid, silently
          72- 'The old traces of vehicules were covered bythe green moss.
                 His complaints couldn't be appeased by his lovesickness
          74-' For you and me, he said, how ungraceful  were we ?
                'As we had no charm of love, in former days
          76- 'Might be this pledge considered as the promises, in the future.
                'So, he procured a catafalque , decored by pearls
          78- 'In burrying superfically ,so the herbs should be grown easily.
                'How many times did the sun and moon rise and set
          80-   - It was an abandonned tomb and anyone didn't visite it   
                'How sensitive and pitiful was her heart !
          82- Immediatly her tears poured out abundantly  as pearls .
               'How painful was the woman's fate !> complained Kieu
          84- 'So, one said, her cruel fate would become the common one.
                'Oh, Creator ! Why were you so cruel !
          86- 'So, her  youth were out, her rosy cheeks withered, day by day.
               'Alive, she was the wife of everybody
          88- 'Being dead, she became a ghost without husband, sorrowfully.
               'Where were the old lovers, have  been lived with her ?
          90- 'Where were the people loving the rose, regretting the green ?
               'As anyone didn't remember her,  give her a regard
          92- 'By the way, I'll find and offer her some incense-bars
                'For expressing my feelings , in meeting her beside the road.
          94- 'Might be this girl, in Hell, could understand my heart .'

              Peu à peu, le soleii  s'inclinait à l''Ouest
        52-  Mains dans les mains, en se promenant, ils se rentraient ensuite.
              À pas lents, ils marchaient au long d'une source petite
        54-  Regardant de scène en scène , le paysage qui ressemblait si beau et verdoyant.
               De-là, serpentait  un courant ruisselant
        56-  Un tout petit arche de pont le traversait, à l'extrémité , d'un cataracte.
              Tout bas, un tertre apparut à côté de la route
        58-  À  moitié jaunes, moitié verts, les bouts  d'herbe, bien flétris .
               'Pourquoi dans la Saison de Thanh Minh' .Kieu dit
        60- '' L'encens et la fumée sont-ils absents sur ce tertre ?
               Vuong Quan commenca à expliquer du bout à l'autre
        62-  'Autrefois, Dam Tien, une chanteuse renommée
               Étant fameuse par son talent et sa beauté
        64- ' Loriots et hirondelles n' étaient pas manqués à sa porte.
               Mais le sort de la jeune fille semblait si fragile, certes
        66--  'Au milieu du printemps, la fleur parfumée était rompue,enfin.
              'Tout à coup, un étranger fut venu d'un pays lointain
        68-  'Ayant entendu ce récit, il voulait  la chercher pour s'amuser davantage.
               'Quand la barque d'amour a justement accosté au rivage
        70- ' L'épingle déjà brisée et depuis longtemps, le vase tombé. .
               'Dans la chambre vide et morne, régnait une parfaite tranquillité
        72- ' Les traes des véhicules et chevaux , couvertes par une couche de verte mousse
               'Par sa douleur , pleurs, lamentations continuaient  à verser sans cesse
        74-   'Pour toi et pour moi, dit-il, combien de malchances avions-nous supportées  ?
              ' Puisque nous ne nous  étions pas unis dans le passé, selon les destinées
         76- 'Je vous offre  ce petit gage, pour notre vie future.
               'En procurant un cercueil  de catafalque et un char funèbre
        78-   Ils l' enterrait  discrètement que les herbes étaient aisément poussées.
               Dès, lors, combien de fois, lune et soleil s'étaient-ils levés et couchés
        80- 'C'était une tombe abandonnée  si bien que personne ne la visite '.
               Dans son coeur, un sentiment de pitié arriva si vite
        82-  Tout de suite, Kieu pleura abondamment, à peine entendu ce récit.
               'Quelle douleur ! le sort d'une femme jadis.
        84-  'On dit que le cruel destin est aussi une chose commune pour toutes les personnes.
               'Oh , Créaateur ! pourquoi .êtes- vous si méchant envers les femmes ?
        86-  'Sa jeunesse  étaiit. affaiblie, ses joues roses flétries  peu à peu.
               'En vivant, étant une femme pour tout le monde, ainsi
        88- 'Hélas !Une fois morte, devenue un fantôme  sans mari, certes.
               'Òu sont-ils  les phénix, les anciens amants , ayant des relations communes avec elle ?
        90-  Et les gens qui ont convoité la rose et regretté le vert ?
              'Puisque personne n' est souvenu d' elle , n'a jetté  sur elle un regard
        92-  'Par cette occasion, je vais bruler et offrir quelques bâtonnets  d' encens
              ' Pour ainsi dire que je l' ai rencontrée sur le chemin .
        94-  ''Peut-être , cette chanteuse-là ., sous la source jaune, connaitrait-elle mon coeur.
